Something short and sweet done for the Grow ON game jam.
You grow by interacting with and absorbing different items. You complete the game by collecting as many different mutations as possible.
Controls: Z to interact, X to cancel and bring up the menu, arrow keys to move

I love this! This is very charming, I love the animations and I especially adore how extra options open up as you go. This is great! Took a bit to get working (also a Linux guy here) but it was worth it. I love seeing RPG Maker get used in creative ways like this.
Works with Wine. Graphics and sound effects are really good (especially the tree). I think I missed a combination, because I couldn't get the true ending. Also I didn't know RPGMaker could be used like this, it blew my mind.
I'm glad you got it working, and thank you! it happened to be the program I'm most familiar with so hey, why not try making a Grow-inspired with it?
and if you're stuck I put together this cheat sheet so you can figure out what you've missed, that is if you really want to see the secret ending, fair if not haha
Can you export to Linux?
I'm not sure that I'm savvy enough for that, I might have to do some research on whether the engine I'm using is compatible
Oh. I also can try Wine, hope it works out.
